A MAN who sleeps in a tent in Banbury was fined £50, ordered to do unpaid work, and disqualified from driving by the town's magistrates on Monday after pleading guilty to three offences.

Graham Anderson, 19, admitted driving not in accordance with his driving licence, having no insurance and to obstructing a police officer.

The court heard that he walked to Banbury every evening to sleep in a tent outside food firm 3663 in Overthorpe Road, Banbury, where he works.

The charges related to an incident on March 3 when he was stopped in a Citroen in Middle Aston Lane, Middle Aston.

Anderson gave a false name and was arrested.

For having no insurance he was ordered to do 60 hours' unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for nine months.

He was fined £50 for obstructing a police officer.
