CONCRETE garage manufacturer Compton Buildings celebrated a milestone last week by supplying its 500,000th building.
For the past 49-years the Fenny Compton company has manufactured concrete sectional garages and buildings.
Compton's 500,000th garage, worth £2,000, has just been delivered to a customer in South London - free of charge.
Compton's sales manager Mike Baldock said "We are pleased to celebrate this fantastic landmark - achieved through 49 years of hard work - by giving away our 500,000th building.
"Not many other companies selling products of equivalent value can claim to have so many happy customers."
Compton Buildings are the largest manufacturer of precast concrete buildings in Europe and sell their products through a network of agents throughout the UK.
