Brazil coach Tite has revealed Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino and Chelsea’s Willian will be in his squad for this summer’s World Cup.
In an interview with UOL Esporte, Tite took the unusual step of naming 15 players guaranteed a place in his squad for the tournament in Russia, with Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho also among them.
Roma goalkeeper Alisson, Paris St Germain quartet Daniel Alves, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Neymar, Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho, Real Madrid’s Casemiro and Marcelo, Miranda of Inter Milan and Renato Augusto of Beijing Guoan were the other players named.
“The list is open in one part and closed in another,” Tite was quoted as saying by UOL Esporte.
