HENLEY College prop Alec Hepburn helped England Under 18s reach the FIRA/ AER Championship final after beating Wales 38-34 at the Stade Jaques Fouroux in Auch, France.

Hepburn started at loose-head as England battled back to secure a final showdown with Ireland in Tarbes on Saturday.

  • ABINGDON School centre Pete Moore scored a try in each of England Under 16 Blues’ opening two matches at the Wellington Festival.

Moore touched down in England’s 39-5 victory over Belgium Under 17s and did the same in their 38-10 defeat to Scotland Under 17s.

The festival, which gives international experience to players below England’s main under 16 squad, concludes tomorrow.
