OXFORD Harlequins suffered relegation from National League 3 South West, after they were beaten 66-8 by promotion-chasing Exmouth.
Quins’ fate has been sealed with two games remaining as they find themselves 11 points adrift of safety.
Harlequins started well against in-form Exmouth, but a George Meadows penalty saw them go 3-0 behind after seven minutes.
Henry Goldson then went over for an unconverted try, before Meadows kicked another penalty to make it 11-0.
Quins replied through prop Pete Boulton’s unconverted try and Huw Dimond’s penalty, but it was a one-sided affair from there on.
Two tries before half-time by Goldson and James Harris, the latter converted by Meadows, saw Exmouth lead 23-8 at the break.
