ASSISTANT coach Matt Ferguson says London Welsh have not deserved to win a game in the Aviva Premiership.
The Exiles will be relegated if they lose at Exeter Chiefs today (3) and Newcastle Falcons beat Leicester Tigers tomorrow.
Welsh have not won a game this season and are 23 points adrift of second bottom Newcastle.
Last week’s Premiership clash at home to struggling London Irish looked an ideal chance of a first win, but a dismal first-half showing cost them dear in a 50-12 defeat where tries from James Tincknell and Taione Vea proved no consolation.
Ferguson believes the Exiles have not been worthy of a league win.
He said: “You don’t deserve results, it is not something that is given to you.
“You get a win by doing basic things well for 80 minutes and we have failed to do that.”
If Welsh are to triumph today they must overcome an Exeter side who have won six of their last seven matches.

Third-placed Chiefs hammered Welsh 52-0 at the Kassam Stadium on the opening day of the season.
Ferguson added: “We are struggling to bring our training form to the pitch.
“I guess it is the pressure and quality of opposition.”
Meanwhile, Piri Weepu’s move to Wasps was seemingly a decision made by the London Welsh board.
When asked if it was a sign that the club was preparing for life in the Championship, assistant coach Ollie Smith said: “That would be a calculated assumption from the outside."
“A decision has been made and we’re just getting on with it.”
Plans have been announced to expand the Premiership to 14 teams for 2016-17 and abolish relegation.
Smith added: “It takes forever for anything to get done in rugby. We’ll wait and see.”
