NATALIA Mitchell achieved a career highlight by winning the Northumberland Senior Gold ladies doubles.
The 21-year-old, from Woodstock, and partner Rosemary Allen did not drop a set in Newcastle.
It was the first win at that level by an Oxfordshire ladies player since double Olympian Julie Bradbury last achieved the feat in 2012.
Mitchell and Allen edged out Victoria Brewis and Sarah Burgess 21-15, 21-19 in the first round, before beating Jessica Allen and Aimie Whiteman 22-20, 21-13.
They overcame second seeds Zoe Hallam and Anna Hubscher 21-11, 21-16 in the semi-final.
The duo then beat Katherine Arksey and Sophie Watson 21-18, 21-19 in the final.
