JACK McEwan hit a five-timer as Summertown Tigers beat Wantage Town Juniors in an Under 14 D League high-scoring thriller, writes PAUL LYON.

Finn Bliss fired a hat-trick for Wantage, with Kian Woodley, Ben Chandler and Billy Withers also on target.

But their efforts proved in vain as McEwan’s five goals, together with Jack Liu’s treble, gave Tigers an 8-6 victory.

Jamie Welsh (2), Mohammed Saalax and Xanfer Salaman scored in East Oxford’s 4-0 win against Cold Ash.

Harry Benfield hit a five timer as Abingdon Youth beat Milton United 11-0 in the Under 14 C League.

Connor Woodward (2), Kieran Dunmore (2), Joe Gomersall and Parum Kleir completed the scoring.

A hat-trick from Corey Sharkey and further goals from Jayden Bennett (2) and Taylor Patrick gave Garsington Youth a 6-0 win against Woolton Hill.

Nathan Walton and Eyan Tyrell struck for Carterton Town in their 2-0 victory over St Edmunds Royals.

Greater Leys Youth and Chalgrove Cavaliers shared ten goals in a superb Under 15 B League match.

Elliott Howells (3), Nasim Iwarm and Ryan Hanton scored for Leys, with Cavalierd finding the net through Harry Rodgers (2), Billy Irwin, Oliver Stobbs and an own goal.

Grove Challengers beat Bicester 4-2, thanks to a hat-trick from Arthur Tilley and a strike from Harry Robson.

Robert Cockroft and Lucas Lamche scored for Bicester.

Connor Barrett (3), Sandesh Limbu (2), Oluwapelumi Maxwell, Lewis Ryan and Zack Wainwright-Smith were on target as Littlemore Youth beat Hinksey Park 8-1 in the Under 13 B League.

Jacob Roberts’ goal was in vain for Hinksey.

James Haidar scored the only goal as Marston Saints beat Hanney Youth 1-0 in their D League clash.

In the same league, James Wood and Rory King struck for AFC Brightwell in their 2-0 win at Horspath Youth.

Jonny Hall hit seven goals as Wantage Town Juniors beat Kidlington Youth 10-0 in the Under 12 Spring E League.

Jacob Haines, George Santacana-Melvin and Matthew Lambe completed the scoring.

Bradley Morton, Kai Jones and Chelsea Cox each hit a hat-trick for Barton United in their 10-3 win at Headington Youth.

Kieran Hayman completed the scoring for Barton, with Theo Hilsdon (2) and Amr Adawi on target for Headington.

A tight clash between Horspath Lions Youth and Didcot Casuals Blue in the A League ended in a 0-0 draw.

Jamie Pick scored at both ends as St Edmunds drew 1-1 with their sister team St Edmunds Royals.

Pick opened the scoring, but was then extremly unlucky to see a shot from Royals take a wicked deflection off his outstretched leg with two minutes remaining and beat his own goalkeeper.
