ADAM Smith scored a last-minute winner to give a youthful Oxford United victory at Kidlington in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup quarter-finals.

The Pitching In Southern League Division 1 Central side twice equalised through Luke Stokoe, after Leon Chambers-Parillon and Gatlin O’Donkor found the net for the U’s.

But Smith popped up to seal a 3-2 win and send United into the last four, where they join Oxford City.

At 20, Chambers-Parillon was the wise old head in the U’s side and he opened the scoring after 18 minutes.

The midfielder took possession just outside the penalty area and bent the shot around Kidlington goalkeeper Harry Way.

United barely had time to savour their lead before they were level again, Stokoe dispatching the rebound after Eddie Brearey’s save.

O’Donkor then put the U’s back in front at roughly the same point of the second half.

The 17-year-old striker was played in behind and had too much pace for his marker, before burying the shot to Way’s left.

Stokoe grabbed his second when he fired home with ten minutes left, only for Smith to win it at the death.

With seconds left, the young forward met Josh Anifowose's free-kick on the volley to send United into the last four.
