EDDIE Pepperell produced a near-flawless opening round on the first day of the Cazoo Classic.
The Abingdon golfer carded a one-under par 71 at London GC, Kent, with a bogey at the par-five 15th his only dropped shot.
Pepperell had earlier picked up birdies at the fifth and tenth holes.
The Frilford Heath member has an early start tomorrow, teeing off at 8am alongside Englishman James Morrison and Spanish golfer Jorge Campillo.
He has made the cut at just one of his last five tournaments.
