EDDIE Pepperell has work to do in his second round at St Andrews.
The Abingdon golfer carded a two-over par 74 on day one of the Hero Open, meaning it is all to play for when he tees off tomorrow morning.
Pepperell dropped a shot at the par-four second before cancelling that out at the next hole, a par five.
The Frilford Heath member moved to one-under with another birdie at the seventh, but a bogey at the eighth saw him fall back.
Pepperell reached the turn at level-par, but dropped shots at the tenth and the 17th punctuated the back nine.
The 30-year-old begins his second round at 8am tomorrow, alongside Sweden’s Marcus Kinhult and Benjamin Hebert, from France.
