A SUPERMARKET near Wembley Stadium will host the first round draw for the Carabao Cup later this week.

Oxford United are one of 70 teams in the hat, which will be selected by John Barnes and Ray Parlour at Morrisons in Colindale.

The draw will take place at 7pm on Thursday – the same day the EFL fixtures are released.

Teams will be separated into northern and southern sections for the first round, with the ties scheduled for the week commencing August 12.

United enjoyed a glamour tie with Premier League champions Manchester City in the competition last season.

Karl Robinson’s side beat Coventry City and Newport County to reach the third round, before Pep Guardiola’s men ran out 3-0 winners at the Kassam Stadium.
