GAVIN Whyte is attracting interest from Nottingham Forest, according to reports in Northern Ireland.

The Sunday Life, sister paper of the Belfast Telegraph, report the Sky Bet Championship club are preparing a £2m bid for the Oxford United winger.

Boss Karl Robinson said before the end of the season his aim was to keep his key players this summer, unless a huge offer came in.

Whyte, who scored nine goals for the U's after signing from Crusaders last summer, is away on international duty.
