LUKE Garbutt’s resurgence has given Oxford United head coach Karl Robinson a headache ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Scunthorpe United.

The return to fitness of Marcus Browne means all six loanees in the squad are available for the clash at the Kassam Stadium.

With only five able to be included in the 18-man matchday squads, Garbutt has been the person to make way in recent weeks.

But the Evertonian, whose role has been changed from a left back to a more attacking player, has made an impact in the last two games.

And Robinson admits it would be very harsh to leave the 25-year-old out this weekend.

He said: “I have a selection problem, because I thought Garbs was brilliant on Saturday.

“He was the one who had missed out with the loans, so we do have a decision to make.

“The fans who went to Blackpool last weekend would be saying ‘give him another chance’.

“I believe they thought he was excellent, a different Luke Garbutt.

“There will be an extra 6,000 people at our stadium this weekend looking to see what this new Luke Garbutt looks like.

“You know what I think of him as a person, but ultimately you get judged at 3pm on a Saturday or 7.45pm on a Tuesday.

“Once again it will be another judgement day for him.”

With Garbutt’s place in the squad tomorrow seemingly assured, Robinson will have to make the cut elsewhere.

Jordan Graham, who scored the only goal of the game at Blackpool, looks safe, while Jerome Sinclair also impressed last weekend.

That would mean there is no room for one of Browne, Ahmed Kashi and Samir Carruthers tomorrow.
