Dennis Butler scored a six in his 15 dolls as The Reds drew 3-3 with Jelly Tots to retain their George Lowe League title at Cowley Conservative Club.

Needing one leg to be crowned champions again, The Reds were given a scare when Jelly Tots took the opener.

But with Butler hitting a six in the second leg, The Reds set 17, which proved enough.

Pip Goulding, who notched 13 dolls for Jelly Tots, had the consolation of being the seaon's top scorer with 156.

John Townsed hit a six in his 15 dolls as North Oxford CC stretched their lead in Division 1 of the Kidlington Indoor League with a 6-0 whitewash of Unknowns.

He was well supported by Peter Dempsey with 14 dolls, and anchor man Paul Sawyer, who posted 13.

In the Banbury Indoor League, Wally Hastie, Phil Smithson and Tony Edgar battled their way through to the triples final where they will face Steve McAteer, Trevor Dyer and Ken Hawtin.
