Banbury Borough’s Richard Redford knocked out clubmate Greg Moon 21-19 in the Oxfordshire singles quarter-finals at Banbury Chestnuts.
Redford now faces Headington’s Mark Charlett, who swept past Carterton’s Stuart Richens 21-8, in the last four at Thame on Sunday (10am).
Carterton’s Alan Prew and Headington’s Colin Whitehead meet in the other semi-final.
Reigning champions Whitehead, Mark Peachey, Ian Snowdon and Charlett (Headington) stayed on course to retain their fours title by reaching the semi-finals.
They now face another Headington four, skipped by Howard Watts.
