FORUM D defeated clubmates Forum B to secure their place in the final of the Aubrey Hughes Handicap Shield.
It books them a match against reigning champions British Rail on Thursday, April 11.
There was little between the sides throughout, shown by the D team receiving just a single point advantage on the handicap system.
It was, however, the B side who started the better, Pierre-Olivier Colard beating John Barclay in the opening singles to seize the early initiative.
But from that point results started to go in favour of Forum D and they ended up winning by 26 points with Pawel Zukowski and Jeremy Flint on form.
The Oxford & District League’s divisional competitions were closely-fought affairs.
With Karl Bushell having already won the Division 1 Hewitt Cup for the 13th time, attention turned to the other sections.
The first match of the evening in the Division 2 Nielsen Cup – Ryan Hambridge against Arthur Anstis – was also the last game of the night with the duo going on to make the final.
Anstis eventually wrapped up the title, beating Hambridge 11-10, 11-10, 11-7.
Despite a disappointing turn-out of just seven players for the Division 3 AJ Roche Cup, there were several close matches.
Ben Hague eventually took the crown, defeating Jack Smith, who had earlier come from two games down to win his last-four clash against Pat O’Regan.
The Two-a-Side competition saw a three-way tie for top spot after the round robin group stage.
The leading duo on points difference met in the final, with Terry Goddard beating David Ring 11-9, 12-10, 13-11, despite having lost to his rival earlier in the evening.
