HEADINGTON Conservative Club maintained their one point lead in Division 2 after their top-of-the-table clash at home to Gladiators ended in a 3-3 draw, writes PETE EWINS.
The visitors won the first leg, but the hosts recovered to lead 2-1 in the Oxford & District League clash, thanks to Keith Hollis and Graham Mildenhall.
Bert Lovegrove scored 6,150 points to level the match for Gladiators, before the pairs were shared.
Division 1 leaders Vikings saw their five-match unbeaten run come to an end in a 4-2 defeat at Masons.
The home side led 3-1, thanks to the efforts of Alan Lowe, Chris Bateman and Dave Rose, with Ian Moss replying.
The pairs were shared as Masons took victory.
Premier Division pacesetters Oracle A won 4-2 at home to Democrats.
Mark Trafford (12,610), Ian Gordon (7,400) and Brian Rose (4,010) reeled off the first three games.
Billy Hill (6,590) got the visitors off the mark, before the pairs were shared.
