HOLTON C recorded a thrilling victory in their Aubrey Hughes Handicap Shield against their A side.
Given a start of 47 points, the C side of John Cripps, James Gibson and Roger Mott triumphed by the narrowest of margins,
382-381.
Forum D’s team of Pawel Zukowski, John Barclay and Nick Langley gave away a start of 248 points to Forum J’s Florin Bobea, Joseph Steane and Giok Ong, but still managed to win by four points.
Vikings A, who were given a nine-point start, made it two wins out of two after beating Gladiators A
357-342.
Forum C also boast a 100 per cent record after seeing off Vikings C 426-405.
Forum A were forced to concede a 280-point start, but still triumphed 440-421 against Bicester E.
The biggest winning margin came from British Rail’s team of Neil Cartwright, Ian Mead and James Lovelock.
They gave away a start of 144 points against Vikings B, but prevailed 424-385.
