OXFORD City Stars have bolstered their defence for the 2019/20 campaign by re-signing Josh Florey.
The 27-year-old, a mainstay of the Stars’ squad, said extending his stay with his local club was a no-brainer.
And he is now relishing the start of the new season.
“I’m excited to be signing for the Stars again and proud to play for my hometown club,” he said.
“We have a new board, new coach and a new vision – all changes which I think will make the club even better.
“I’m really looking forward to getting going now.”
Head coach Simon Anderson said: “I’m delighted to be working with Josh again.
“Josh is a total team guy, who gives his heart and soul to the cause.
“He is a tremendous leader in the room and his versatility on the ice is something we really need.
“I’m excited to see how much Josh has developed over the past few seasons.”
