OXFORD City Stars’ forward Josh Oliver scooped three honours at the club’s end-of-season awards.
Oliver, 25, who weighed in with 30 goals during the Stars’ double-winning season, was chosen as the player of the year – by the coaches, his fellow players and the media.
He said: “When there are so many great players and great blokes in the squad to be selected for one award, let alone three really is an honour and one I didn’t expect.
“We’ve had a great season, and everyone has played their part as a team and a club.”
Around 120 people celebrated the club’s NIHL Division 2 South and Division 2 National League championship-winning year.
Jake Florey was awarded most improved defenceman, with his brother, Josh, the most improved forward.
Mike Whillock, who bagged 21 goals, won best forward and net-minder Ronai Milan the best defenceman.
Conor Redmond, 23, picked up the young player award and defenceman Dominic Hopkins was voted the supporters' player of the year.
Hopkins said: “The fans have been absolutely fantastic all season and they really do make a difference.”
Social media manager Neil Shewry was chosen as unsung hero and fan Clair Smith, who is a volunteer, won club person of the year.
