WITNEY made it seven straight wins in South West 1 East by coming from 15-0 down to beat second-placed Towcesterians 18-15 at Hailey Road.
The hosts fell behind in the sixth minute when flanker Liam Williamson sliced through for a try.
James Falvey extended the visitors’ lead with a penalty, and Witney fell further behind when flanker Tom George touched down, with Falvey converting.
Towcesterians suffered a setback when centre Chrissie George was stretchered off with a badly cut leg following a ten-minute delay.

Witney got on the scoreboard a minute into the second half through a Phil Thomas penalty, and Towcesterians then had Devlin Jones sin-binned.
A Carl Strutt try made it 15-8, and Witney were level when Thomas jinked over and added the conversion, before kicking a late penalty to snatch victory.
Grove slipped to a 20-17 defeat at Devizes, despite outscoring their hosts three tries to one.
Wing Guy Nicholl, centre Brendon White and substitute lock Mark Tugwell all touched down for Grove.
James Gaiger was the only Devizes player to break through, but fly half Andy Thompson won it with four penalties and a drop goal.
