OXFORD City boss Mark Jones believes Tarik Moore-Azille can achieve big things at Court Place Farm next season.
The central defender has agreed a new deal after producing a number of impressive performances late in the 2018/19 campaign following his move from Hungerford Town.
He will rejoin club captain Joe Oastler at the heart of City’s defence, a partnership Jones believes will blossom.
“We’re pleased that Tarik has agreed to sign,” he said.
“He’s still only 22 and has most of the attributes that you want for a centre-half.
“He’s quick across the ground, reads the game well, is a good size, so we’re looking for a big season from Tarik next year.”
He added: “He’s shown in glimpses what he’s capable of, but we believe that there’s more to come from him.
“We’re looking forward to working with him and getting a good pre-season under his belt.
“I thought him and Joe Oastler were showing signs of getting a nice partnership together and we want to continue working on that partnership next season.”
Meanwhile, North Leigh have completed the signing of Callum McNish.
The midfielder returns to the club from Didcot Town.
David Lynn has agreed a new deal at Thame United which will see the left back stay for a fifth season.
