EMILY Allen plundered a double hat-trick in Oxford United Women’s 12-0 rout of C&K Basildon Ladies.
The club’s record league victory was their seventh successive FA Women’s National League win, keeping them fourth in the Southern Premier Division but within three points of second.
United had only won the reverse fixture 2-0 in October, but the rock bottom visitors fell behind in only the sixth minute.
Allen was the provider, with her cross turned in by Georgia Timms.
United took a grip on the game with three goals in five minutes midway through the half.
Allen got two of them, sandwiching Timms’ second of the game.
Flo Fyfe scored the goal of the day with a terrific solo effort, before Allen completed her first hat-trick just before half-time.
Another treble followed for the in-form striker after the break as the hosts ran riot.
Timms bagged her third, while Fyfe added a second and Immy Lancaster also got in on the act to complete the thrashing.
Oxford Utd: Thomas, Haynes (Williams 64), Mobbs, Lancaster, Allen, Noble, Timms, Fyfe (Roberts 68), Baker (Bent 58), Sims, Gane.
Attendance: 158.
