KYREECE Martei scored an 11-minute hat-trick as Oxfordshire Under 18s romped to a 7-3 victory over Berks & Bucks in their South West Counties Youth Championship tie at Slough Town.

It was 2-2 at the end of a tight first half, in which Oxon’s goals came from Dan Collins and John O’Donoghue.

But the visitors ran away with it after the break as Charlie Elliott and Collins scored either side of Martei’s rapid treble, which was completed by a penalty.

Oxon play Gloucestershire in the last section match on a date to be arranged, with the winners to play the final away from home on April 28.

l VALE of White Horse Schools Under 13s reached the final of the Oxford United Cup with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Cheltenham in the semi-final at Milton United.

George Hughes gave Vale an interval lead, looping the ball over the keeper after good work by Robbie Gallagher, only for Cheltenham to equalise in the last minute.

But Gallagher struck the winner in the third minute of extra-time to secure Vale`s place in the final, where they will play Aldershot & Farnborough or Gosport & Fareham.
