AFC Jericho stretched their lead at the top of the Critchleys Upper Thames Valley League Premier Division to six points with a 6-3 win at Iffley Harriers, writes MATTHEW HARDY.

Winston Gallagher’s hat-trick for the hosts was matched by a Ben Curtis treble for Jericho, with two goals from James Adams and another from Almantis Bindener giving the visitors victory.

Woodstock Wanderers were knocked off the top of Division 1 as they suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 4-0 at Sporting Headington Academicals.

Matt Warne, David Hunter, Tim Wright and Peter Lefort each struck for the home side to move them up to third.

Railway Wheatley continued their march in the Ridgeway Cup with a 3-2 third-round victory over Milton Midgets.
