Mark Gaul and Tom Payne helped themselves to doubles as Marston Saints crushed Horspath 6-2 in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division.
Payne fired Marston ahead with a close-range strike, with Gaul making it 2-0 from Paddy Cope’s pass.
Gaul then set up Payne who finished well for his second.
After the break, Cope headed in No 4, with Tom Williams’s rocket-shot replying for Horspath.
Gaul then grabbed his second to make it 5-1 with a low shot, and although Jon Maskens reduced the deficit, new signing Jon Cartwright sealed the rout with his debut goal.
Keeper Jamie Leach saved a second-half penalty as Freeland held on for a 1-0 victory against Stonesfield.
After a goalless first half, Adam Reynolds gave Freeland the lead. He charged into the box and played a neat one-two with Nathan Blackwell before finishing well.
However, they missed a number of chances and were almost made to pay when Stonesfield were awarded a penalty, but Leach saved Dy Noonan’s effort.
New boy Paul Salter scored on his Oxford University Press debut in a 2-1 success against Kennington.
Salter’s close-range strike gave OUP a first-half lead.
Victory was sealed when Neil Lockheart fired a 25-yard rocket into the top corner.
Robby Cattell netted for Kennington from the penalty spot in the 90th minute, but it was too late to get an equaliser.
A late revival from Launton Sports proved in vain as they lost 2-1 at Mansfield Road.
Cameron Knight fired the hosts ahead with a 25-yard left-foot thunderbolt, before Adam Healy doubled Kennington’s lead after the break.
Matt Green pulled one back with a header to set up a nervy finale.
A brace from Billy Truby and a Kristian Thomas strike earned Kidlington Old Boys a 3-2 win against Yarnton in Division 1.
Mark White and Andy White were on the mark for Yarnton.
Ben Green hammered a hat-trick as Riverside thrashed Watlington 4-0.
Luke Day got their other.
