SPARTAN Rangers stunned Minster Lovell 3-1 to reach the second round of the Witney & District FA’s Ted Young Senior Cup.

Despite winning just one Premier Division game this season, the hosts secured victory thanks to goals from Donny Henderson-Sowerby (2) and David Pryse.

Minster replied through Eddie Dunn, but it was in vain.

Aston progressed with a 2-1 victory against visitors Carterton Town A.

Ryan Colleton and Nick Angus were on the mark for the hosts, with Luke Davenport replying.

In the Watts Junior Cup second round, Reece Bayliss struck a hat-trick to help Stonesfield to a 4-1 win over visitors Hailey Res.

Raffy Rice scored their other goal, while Darren Tasker netted for Hailey.

Dan Bott’s treble saw Middle Barton to a 4-1 win over Charlbury Town Res.

Lewis Fowler scored the other goal, with Michael Hayes netting for Charlbury.

Kingham All Blacks went through with a 2-1 win over visitors Combe, thanks to goals from Harry Noteman and Dan Lay. Ethan Penney was on target for Combe.

Brize Norton beat Witney Wanderers 4-2 in Division 2.

Adam Davis, Steve Marshall, Haydn Parker and Peter Moore scored Brize’s goals, with Telmo Fernandez and Josh Walkington replying.

In Division 3, doubles for Scott Mason, Daz Craig and Pete Jenkins, plus strikes from Mickey Hole and Ben Hardcastle, gave Spartan Rangers Res an 8-0 win at Chipping Norton Town Res.
