Weymouth 1 (Groves 14) Oxford City 1 (Harding 52)
HARRY Harding grabbed a second-half equaliser for Oxford City at Weymouth in the Southern Division Premier Division on his return debut after signing on a month’s loan from Reading.
Harding, who impressed during a spell with City last season, levelled with a speculative shot which flew past a motionless Tom Manley.
City, who also included news signings Jack Mills and Michael Hector from Reading, had fallen behind in the 14th minute when Richard Groves netted after Pierre Joseph-Dubios’s effort rebounded off a defender.
Matteo King then headed over the City goal from Simon Ratcliffe’s corner, while Samuel Clarke had a header which clipped their bar.
After they equalised, City pressed for a winner with Harding almost getting on the end off a Mark Janes cross.
Oxford City: R Knight, Mills, Kinch, Savage, Clarke, Hector, Beechers (Janes 55), Malone, Faulkner (Holman 72) Sandy, Harding. Subs not used: Barcelos, Davis.
Referee: A Tranter (Poole).
