FELIPE Barcelos has bolstered Didcot Town’s attacking options after rejoining the Evo-Stik South League side.

The Brazilian, who has now signed for the club three times in his career, goes straight into the squad to face Yaxley at home in Division 1 Central tomorrow.

Barcelos, who departed Premier Division Central high-fliers Stratford Town, initially joined Didcot in October 2017 and went on to score 28 goals in 38 appearances.

His form helped the Railwaymen reach the play-offs and Southern League Challenge Cup final.

After rejecting a move to Banbury United, Barcelos re-signed for Didcot at the start of this season, scoring in his only home appearance against Aylesbury United, before joining Division 1 South side Moneyfields, whom he then departed for Stratford.

Boss Andy Ballard is thrilled to have the striker back on his books and, with the side sitting fourth in the table, is hoping the former Oxford City man can help the Railwaymen reach the play-offs again.

He said: “We're delighted to bring Felipe back to Didcot.

“He was a huge part of our success last season and knows what we're all about.

“It's an area of the field we have lacked a little bit of depth in and he brings the added firepower we need for these last 13 games of the season."

Thame United have also added to their squad, signing Craig Fasanmade on a dual registration deal from Oxford City.
