Three players were sent off as Oxford Yellows’ ten men hit two late goals to snatch a 3-2 victory at nine-man Dorchester United in a stormy Critchleys UTV League Premier Division clash.

Tim Neill and Brian Rawlings had put United 2-1 up, but Yellows stole the points through Andy McMahon, Sean Flaherty and Neil McMahon.

However, the match was marred by a flurry of nine cards, which saw sending-offs for Dorchester’s Robert Lee and Wayne Bell together with Yellows’ Piers McGlynn.

Kings Arms Wheatley also staged a fightback to win 3-2 at Barton United.

Trailing to goals from Aaron Williams and Ben Strong, Kings Arms roared back for victory with Luke Cuff, Olly Saja and James Luckett scoring.

Oxford FC provided the nets from their own pitch so that their Division 1 clash at Mansfield Road could go ahead, but the hosts didn’t return the favour as they triumphed 3-2.

Max Burton’s free-kick special, a Fran O’Neil header and Mo Hankir gave Mansfield Road the edge, with Reve Basanti and Andrew Pantry, with a super free-kick, replying.

Division 2 leaders Yellow Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw at home to a resurgent Red Lion Islip, who could have taken all three points but for having a penalty saved.

Ben Crawford headed Eagles into the lead after the break, but James Johnson equalised for Red Lion ten minutes from time.

Earlier, Alex Dawson saw his spot-kick saved by Eagles keeper Andy Hilsdon. King & Queen Wheatley coasted to a 5-0 home win over Rutherford Lab.

Craig Thomas and Shane Walley scored two apiece, with Dan Normington also netting.

Jamie McCuaig grabbed an injury-time winner as AFC Hinksey inflicted a first defeat of the season upon Kidlington Royals with a 3-2 victory in the Devenney Cup third round.

Paul Alder had fired Premier Division leaders Hinksey into a 20th-minute lead, before Kieran Davis made it 2-0 on the half-hour mark.

But Lewis Coyle pulled a goal back for Kidlington before half-time, and James Organ equalised for the Division 1 pacesetters five minutes from time.

Royals were in the ascendancy, but a mistake by Ben Willoughby saw McCuaig race clear to shoot past Sam Warrell in the dying seconds.

Brightwell squeezed past Checkendon Exiles 4-1 on penalties after their tie finished 5-5 after extra time.

Andy Gibbons hit a hat-trick, with Dave Smyth and Bradley Gray also netting for Division 1 side Brightwell.

But second division outfit Checkendon forced extra time through a Tristian Allen double, Martin Hines, Matt Ploszynski and Scott Gesner.

However, it was Brightwell who held their nerve in the shoot-out with keeper Ty Morris, Neal Carrington, Gibbons and Smyth scoring from 12 yards.

Division 1 high-fliers AFC Jericho were made to battle at Division 3B side Black Swan before securing a 4-1 win.

Aaron Williams’s double put Jericho in charge, before the Swan hit back through Jess Mortimer.
