John McMahon fired a four-timer as Oxford Yellows roared back from 3-0 down to win 4-3 at Barton United in the Critchleys Upper Thames Valley League Premier Division, writes TIM SIRET.

The hosts had taken what seemed a solid lead through Bradley Fine, Aaron Barrett and Aaron Williams.

But they capitulated as McMahon ran riot with his four goals capped by a penalty, and Barton even blew a point as Yellows keeper Ryan Davies saved a late spot-kick.

Rover Cowley won 2-0 at Dorchester United.

Warren Ryan set Rover on the way with a well-taken finish, and Ben Armstrong scored the second.

Lloyd Little scored twice as Yellow Eagles got back to winning ways in Division 2 with a 3-1 home victory against Sutton Wanderers.

He beat two Wanderers defenders before slotting home Eagles first and then chested home Thom Airs’s cross for the second.

Ryan Simpson fired home No 3, with Steve Richards pulling one back for Wanderers.

Johnny Eudell bagged a brace in Didcot Casuals’ 5-0 home win over Checkendon Exiles. Adam Gilroy, Andrew Taylor and Wayne Railton also netted.

A 2-0 home defeat by Abingdon Exiles saw Iffley Harriers lose top spot in Division 3A to Zubry Oxford on goal difference.

Goals from Ben Parry and John Monnery helped Exiles move into third.

Forest Hill came from behind to win 2-1 at Abba Athletic.

Liam Fudge put Abba ahead before injury forced him off, and Forest hit back to take victory through Eddie Aldworth and Josh Gonzalez.

Flinn Crabbe’s double helped FC Hagbourne go top of Division 3B with a 4-1 win at Milton Midgets.

Justin Hemsley fired Midgets ahead, but Crabbe’s brace combined with strikes from Kevin Williams and Andrew Lawson maintained Hagbourne’s 100 per cent league record.

Northway Boys & Girls Res remain unbeaten following a 2-0 win at Long Wittenham. Lewis Colwell and Wes Bone scored for Northway.

Jay Hill’s 30-yard strike spared Kings Arms Wheatley’s blushes in a 2-1 home win over Division 2 side Saxton Pirates in the Devenney Cup second round.

Paul Druce headed Pirates into a shock half-time lead.

But the Premier Division hosts levelled through Sam Webb, before Hill rifled home the winner.

Pirates keeper Ben Duke also saved a Shaun Pearce penalty.

Jim Lee’s double helped Cross Keys Wallingford ease past Division 3A side Railway Wheatley 3-0.

Andy Gibbons’s double, which included a penalty, gave Brightwell their first win of the season, 2-1 at Cholsey United. Brad Chalmers pulled one back for Cholsey.

Two late Kearon Russell goals gave Rutherford Lab a 5-4 win at JET.

Andy Marshall, John Hawkins and John Watts also netted for Rutherford, with Tom Fernandez (2), Nicolas Veillard and James Brough-ton the JET scorers.
