Zubry Oxford completed their first season in the league in style, by winning the Alan Alder Memorial Trophy with a 2-0 win against Iffley Harriers at Abingdon Town.

The Polish side controlled much of the first half and went ahead after four minutes when a cross-shot from Lukasz Wolinski flew overt he advancing Harrier keeper James Southern and into the net.

After the break, Iffley suffered a blow when Jack Barrett went off injured.

Despite the odds, Iffley who won only three matches in the regular season, were still able to put together some decent attacks which were repelled by some superb defending from Zubry.

Zubry made sure of the Trophy when Andrzej Krason tapped home after Sebastian Ciekielski goal-bound free-kick was saved by Southern.

And there was no way back for Harriers as Zubry capped a remarkable first season.
