Mark Janes hit a late double as Barton United maintained their unbeaten record in the Autotype UTV League with a 3-3 draw against Kings Arms Wheatley, writes TIM SIRET.

Both sides went into the Premier Division clash without a defeat, but things looked bleak for Barton after Luke Cuff (2) and Ben Curtis put Kings Arms 2-0 and 3-1 ahead.

However, Janes scored twice in the final minutes to snatch a draw.

Liam O’Callaghan had scored Barton’s opening goal.

Marlon James scored the only goal as AFC Hinksey beat Rover Cowley 1-0.

In Division 1, Jamie Mundy smashed a four-timer as Kennington United opened up a ten-point lead after a 7-1 win at OUP Wanderers.

John Mills (2) and Rob Andrews also scored, with Steve Doyle on target for OUP.

Simon Godfrey hit a hat-trick as Chalgrove saw off Donnington 5-1.

Nick Skiller and Matt Howitt also netted, with Lee Spencer’s strike proving in vain.

Andy Gibbons hit a second-half treble as Division 2 leaders Brightwell saw off bottom side Rutherford Lab 5-0.

Neil Carrington (pen) and Danny Adlam also scored.

AFC Jericho remain unbeaten after a 3-0 victory at Didcot Casuals thanks to goals from Jack Hayhurst (2) and Reece Ward.

In Division 3A, Blacks Head Bletchingdon had Dave Villiers sent off, but held on to beat Abingdon Exiles 3-2.

Goals from Adam Wells (2) and Chris Thorne were just enough for the points as Exiles hit back through Dave Bannister and Adam Godwin.

Cholsey stayed on track for a historic treble-chasing season after reaching round four of the Berks & Bucks Junior Trophy with a 6-1 home win over Burghfield Reserves, (Reading).

Andy Allum (2), Alejandro Rodriguez, Clive Perryman, Jamie Martin and Martin Dawson found the net Cholsey now face UTV rivals Abingdon Exiles for a place in the quarter finals.

Saxton Pirates, however, bowed out after a 3-1 defeat at Berkshire Arms (Thatcham), Tom Butler getting their consolation.
