STU Coppock netted a five-timer as Research Machines reached the third round of the Berks and Bucks Sunday Cup with a 6-4 win against UTV League rivals Didcot Casuals.
Nathan Brown was their other marksman, with Steve Hedges (2), Ashley Cole and Richard Hadley replying for the Didcot side.
The Bell Grove knocked last year’s finalists The Sun Reading out with a 3-1 victory, thanks to goals from Johnny James, Callum Cook and Billy McDonald.
Luke Higgins and Sam Elkins hit two apiece as Wallingford Wanderers won 4-3 at Calcot Locomotiv.
