CHARLIE Raglan has been loaned out by Oxford United to Port Vale for the rest of the season.
The U’s have five fit centre backs following the signing of Rob Dickie earlier this month and want the 24-year-old to get game time now he is back to full fitness.
Raglan signed a two-year deal last summer after impressing on loan in the 2016/17 season, but ruptured ankle ligaments in pre-season.
Recovery from the operation meant he never played under Pep Clotet, with his one appearance this season coming under caretaker boss Derek Fazackerley in the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea Under 21s in the Checkatrade Trophy last week.
The loan move marks a return to Vale Park for the defender, who came through the youth ranks at the club, but left in 2012 without making a senior appearance.
