Robin Hood ambushed OARDFC late in extra time to book their place in final of the Ridgeway Cup with a 3-2 victory.

Martin Latimer grabbed a last-gasp strike - his ninth goal in the competition - to clinch a dramatic semi-final victory for Hood.

The first four goals all came before half-time.

Hood midfielder Kieran Davis set up Dean Mays to open the scoring, but OARDFC equalised when Fama Mara's pass was squeezed home by top-scorer Okita Sumbu.

Latimer then fired Hood in front only for Mara set up Sumbu again for a second equaliser.

Two minutes from the end of extra time, Latimer finished off a fine move to book their place in the final of a competition in which they were the first winners in 1982.

In the final, they will meet the 1996 champions Goodlake Arms, who beat highly-fancied CR Marks Kidlington 1-0 in the other semi-final, with a Steve Madge strike. Marks had a late equaliser ruled out for offside.

Abingdon Casuals wrapped up the Division 1 title with four games to go after a 15-0 thrashing of Horseshoe.

Paul Douglass top-scored with a four-timer, while Kev Secker and Tom Smith hit doubles.

Also on target were Jon Beames, Dave Bayliss, Chris Meek, Dwight Jones, Glynn Jones, Matty Shelton and Ben Tyler.

In the race for second spot, Jackass Inn and AFC Oxford battled out a 3-3 draw.

Lewis George hit a double for Oxford, including a 30-yard effort, with Paul Robinson grabbing the other. Glynn McGibbon, from the penalty spot, Bryn Ingram and Andy Patton netted for Jackass.

Cross Keys lost 3-2 to revitalised Standlake Garage, who led 3-0 through Chris Palmer, Lee Senior and Chris Bennell. Leighton Jackson and Tom Hemmings replied for Keys.

Garry Hartley's five-minute hat-trick ensured a 5-3 win for Saxton Rovers at East Hendred. Steve Pitson's double made up Rover's tally.

Sandman drew 1-1 with Childrey OHB. Kieran Russell ran through to score for Sandman, while Matty Pedder chipped the keeper, for the equaliser.

Division 3A leaders AFC Cowley were held to a 1-1 draw by Clanfield 85.

Daniel Richmond's curling shot looked like giving Cowley the points.

However, their keeper Russell Wainwright misjudged a long ball in the wind and conceded an own goal for the equaliser.

Abingdon Exiles won 5-0 at Henry Box OBs, who started with only seven players. Danny Shurmer hit a brace, with the other goals coming from Lawrence, Steve Hook and Steve Cox.

Division 3B leaders Wallingford Exiles were made to fight all the way as they won 3-2 at Allbrite.

Rob Taylor and Shaun Brown netted for Allbrite, Exiles edged home thanks to strikes from Gavin Ward, Dave Cheesman and Gavin Miller.
