Carl Archer scored for White Horse Abingdon before suffering a broken leg in their home game with Checkendon in the Critchleys Upper Thame Valley League.
It happened 73 minutes into the Division 2 clash when he went in for a challenge, with his injury leading to the game being abandoned.
Goals from Archer, Ashley Jones and Michael Bloomfield had put White Horse 3-1 up before the game was brought to a premature end.
Lewis Charlesworth and John Webb hit hat-tricks as Woodstock Wanderers hammered Standlake Garage 7-0.
Sean Dyer also on target for the hosts.
Northway’s five-game winning run ended in a 3-3 draw at Forest Hill.
