Horspath 2nd beat Thame Town 2nd by six wickets to collect their 12th win of the season, but had to settle for second behind Cublington.

Alastair Thomas (34) helped Thame start well, but they fell away to 148 all out, due in part to Ben Henderson’s 3-18.

Openers Ian Belcher (40) and Ben Hubbard (33) got Horspath off to a flier, and despite Thomas’s 4-34, they reached 150-4.

Nigel Hill hit 80 in Challow & Childrey 2nd’s 184, which saw five wickets fall for six runs, Neil Smith taking 6-61.

John Mackie (78no) and Alan Maule (47) helped Tiddington cruise to 186-3.

Didcot beat Banbury 3rd by one wicket in a thrilling finish.

Mark Rorich (46) and Adam Wirth (41) were the mainstays of Banbury’s 198 all out, Jordan Morrison taking 4-58 and Julian Hitchman 4-32. Shaun Burningham (38) and Morrison (35) helped Didcot to 199-9.

Cropredy 2nd secured their first win of the season in the battle of the bottom two.

Banbury Twenty 2nd posted 196-9 thanks to Ijaz Mohammed (59), Altaf Hussain taking 4-28.

Ralph Orchard (91) and Adrian Beecroft (68) then steered Cropredy to 199-5.

Brackley were shot out for 80 by Cublington, who scored 81-4 and clinched the title.

William Raynor-Thompson took 3-14 for the new boys, before Keith Cartwright’s 3-33 at least made the visitors work hard for the runs.
