STEVE Roberts produced the extraordinary figures of 7-14 from a 14-over spell that also featured five maidens as leaders Oxford Downs 2nd hammered Bledlow Ridge.

The home side crashed from 38-0 to 58 all out as Roberts and Matt Holyland (3-16) ran riot.

Ian Caunce and Wes Bartlett were both unbeaten on 23 when Downs reached 59-1 in the 11th over.

Opener Zawar Hussain hit 15 sixes in an astonishing innings of 189 as Twyford hammered 301-3 against Hanbrough.

Hussain dominated century partnerships with Stafford Sansome (40) and Shahid Mahmood (34).

The visitors were positive from the outset, with Joe Burgess hitting 50 and Paul Rose 59 not out, but they fell well short on 207 all out.

Marco Cecchini missed out on his half century by one run, but saw his Kingston Bagpuize side beat Cropredy.

Cecchini was the mainstay of Bagpuize’s 173 all out, then youngsters Damian Wiskin (3-28) and Ben Jefferis (3-38) kept up their fine form to dismiss the visitors for 141.

Bledlow Village prevailed in a one-sided contest at Dinton 2nd.

The home side crumbled to 100 all out in 29.3 overs, with James Shirley (4-31) the pick of the attack.

Charlie Downes’s 53 not out then helped Bledlow reach 101-1 with few alarms.
