A SUPER century by Matt Jones, who finished unbeaten on 116, helped Didcot demolish Cropredy 2nd by 133 runs.

Julian Hitchman (54) and Henry Brisland (44) took the visitors to 275.

Hitchman followed up with 3-16 from 11 overs as Cropredy were all out for 142, Altaf Hussain hitting 57.

Banbury 3rd battered Brackley by 160 runs.

Mark Rorich made 80 in Banbury’s 241-8, as Lee Horton took 5-24. Chris Phillips (4-23) and Adam Wirth (3-19) then dismissed the visitors for 81.

Cublington maintained their 100 per cent record by easily beating a young Banbury Twenty 2nd side.

Abeed Rehman hit 62 in Twenty’s 119-9. Ben Sim (35no) led the visitors to 122-2.

Joey Todd (73), Matthew O’Connor (59) and Stephen Green (53) helped themselves to runs as Horspath 2nd racked up 255-4 at Challow & Childrey 2nd.

The home side were in trouble on 86-6 as seamer Mitchell Meredith (3-69) bowled well, but Joe Harris (55no) and Neil Phillips (43no) steered Challow to 185-6 and safety.

Tiddington 2nd spinners Neil Smith (6-47) and Robin Pykett (3-18) wreaked havoc as Thame Town 2nd tumbled to 108 all out. Only Ian McStay (30) hung around for long on a dry pitch.

Alan Maule then showed Thame how to bat as he made 57 not out in the visitors’ 109-1.
