OCA League - Divisions 5-10

Great Horwood 2nd’s Gary Lee scored 80 to help his side to a 78-run victory over Chesterton in Division 5.

Horwood posted 180 all out, despite 6-17 from Trevor Price.

Chesterton then fell to 102 all out in reply.

Minster Lovell 2nd were relegated to Division 6 after crashing to a 91-run defeat atlocal rivals Chipping Norton.

Ian Widdows (60) and Ben Tew (50) saw Chippy to 185 all out.

It was always going to be too many for Minster to chase, who crashed to 94 all out, with Adrian Underhill taking an impressive 5-16.

In Division 6, Garsington 2nd romped to a ten-wicket win over Tetsworth 2nd.

Tetsworth were rolled over for just 96, before Zubair Shafique hit 54 not out as Garsington raced to victory.

Stanton Harcourt defeated Shrivenham 2nd by 50 runs.

Stuart Wastie hit 89 as Harcourt rattled up 186 all out, Josh Kirk taking 4-46.

Shrivenham fell to 136 all out in reply, with Louis Pettifer taking 4-12 and Luke Pettifer 3-23.

Steve McComb helped Dorchester eased past Stanton St John Willows by six wickets.

Willows were bowled out for 135, then McComb (57no) saw Dorchester to 137-4.

East & West Hendred 2nd were knocked off the top of Division 9 after a 57-run defeat at Minster Lovell 3rd.

Batting first, Minster posted 193 all out, youngster Josh Lock hitting 62 and James McLaren 40.

Pete Beckley’s 3-15 came courtesy of a hat-trick.

Hendred fell to 136 all out.

Faringdon 2nd maintained their title challenge with a six-wicket win against Kennington 2nd.

Swinbrook 2nd thrashed Kidlington 2nd by eight wickets.

Having bowled Kidlington out for 149, Swinbrook eased to 150-2 as George Grace hit 94 and Dominic Grace 30.

Oxenford 2nd also maintained their bid with a seven-wicket win over Chinnor.

Ralph Martin (4-23) and Richard Rowley (4-32) combined as Chinnor were dismissed for 118.

Paul Merry then hit 51 not out and Amit Chakrabarti 44 not out in Oxenford’s 121-3.

In Division 11, Sam Greenhalf took 6-38 including a hat-trick to help Britwell Salome to a ten-wicket victory against Risinghurst 2nd.
