BEN Charlesworth opened the batting for England Lions in their five-wicket defeat to Bangladesh Under 19s in Cox’s Bazar.
The Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire batsman scored 26 off 38 balls, including six fours, at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium.
But the St Edward’s School pupil was stumped by Akbar Ali off the bowling of Ashraful Islam Siam as England reached 209-7 from their 50 overs.
Bangladesh then chased down the target with five overs to spare.
The second match takes place at the same venue today.
