CHARLIE Fisher produced another outstanding all-round display to help OCA League Division 2 leaders Witney Swifts to a 106-run victory Chadlington.

Batting first, Swifts posted 249-7 as Fisher hit 94 and Kieran Foggett 56.

Chadlington were never in the hunt as they crawled to

143-9, Fisher taking 3-5 and George Seacole 3-18.

Damien Wiskin’s 6-19 helped Wootton & Boars Hill to a 130-run victory at Broughton & North Newington.

Wootton set the hosts 218-6 as Shaun Morton top-scored with 76.

Broughton had no answer to the excellent Wiskin as they fell to 88 all out.

Chipping Norton were too strong for visitors Wantage as they ran out eight-wicket victors.

Mark Stanway (4-12) and Darren De Bruyn (3-41) combined to dismiss Wantage for 100, and then Dan Stafford hit 41 not out and Ian Widdows 34 not out in Chippy’s 101-2.

Marsh Gibbon’s Sat Vadivale had an excellent day as his side eased past visitors Clifton Hampden by 93 runs.

The hosts got off to a rapid start as Joe Leonard struck 53 in nine overs and before quickfire 72 from Charlie Shipperley and 47 from Vadivale saw them to 250-8.

Vadivale then took 5-35 with the ball to help restrict Clifton to 157-7.

Westcott saw off visitors Eynsham by four wickets.

Sam Jones hit 83 in Eynsham’s 201-9, Waqas Ur-Rehman taking 5-39.

Alimar Khan then hit 86 and Keegan Collier 61 to steer Westcott to 205-6.

Great Horwood moved up to third place in Division 1 after a thrilling two-wicket victory at Oxenford.

The hosts struggled to make headway against an excellent seam attack as Rob Taylor took 3-33 and Josh Nix 3-43.

David Shackleton (56) was the only Oxenford batsman to get going.

In reply, Olly Prendergast hit 45, but Horwood lost regular wickets to edged home at 156-8.

Faringdon saw off visitors Wolvercote by three wickets.

Mark Child hit 53 in Wolvercote’s 166, Mike Hume claiming 4-36.

Rob Brown (48) and Ian Oglesby (34no) then led the hosts to 168-7.

In Division 3, leaders Middleton Cheney suffered only their second defeat as visitors Tetsworth won by 80 runs.

Kamlesh Ukarda (75no) and Krunal Patel (53) helped Tetsworth to 228 all out, Josh Nadin taking 5-37 for the home side.

Middleton fell to 148 all out in reply as Dhaval Patel took 3-36 and Nikunj Patel 3-40.

Three wickets apiece for Shahin Ali, Sanjeeway Jaykody and Shaun Foote helped Fringford to a six-wicket victory against Hanborough.

Only Aston Leach (43) got going as Hanborough were bowled out for 106, before Jonny Reid (38) and David Cooling (32no) led Fringford to 110-4.

Ex-Bourton Vale batsman Paul Lazenbury top-scored with 69 to help Kidlington to a seven-wicket win against visitors Cairns Fudge.

The visitors set a competitive total of 231-7, Andy Small top-scoring with 48 and Dan Farrant taking 3-48.

Lazenbury, Craig Woods (61no) and Sahil Kalyan (47no) made light work of the target, Kidlington easing home at 232-3.

Watlington edged past hosts Risinghurst by one wicket.

Neil Maguire’s super spell of 4-13 in 12 overs saw Risinghurst bowled out for 113, Selvam Raman hitting 55.

Watlington struggled to reach the meagre target, Rakesh Nambiar taking 3-32.

But Maguire was the hero with the bat, hitting a six to finish the game and wrap up victory.

Division 4 leaders Brill marched on as they brushed aside visitors Deddington by nine wickets.

Ben Jackson was the star of the show, his haul of 6-28 helping to run through Deddington for only 69, before Brill cruised in at

70-1.

Bampton kept up the pressure, beating visitors Marcham by four wickets.

Ady Brooksbank (4-22) and Simon Launder (3-19) combined to bowl Marcham out for 73, and then James Bray hit 43 not out as Bampton reached 74-6.

There was a thrilling finish at Sunningwell, who edged past Uffington by one wicket.

The visitors were bowled out for 151 as Peter Jones hit 67 and Ben Roberts and Andy Claydon claimed three wickets apiece.

Jones then claimed 4-22 with the ball and Martin Key 3-48, but Sunningwell squeezed home with nine wickets down.

West Ilsley crushed visitors Swinbrook by eight wickets.

They bowled Swinbrook out for 86, Andy Brown taking 4-29 and Patrick MacKenzie-Charrington 4-33.

Jack Barrett (38no) then led Ilsley to 87-2 and a comfortable victory.
