JACK Brooks could not have picked a higher profile match to return from injury for Yorkshire today.
The former Oxfordshire paceman faces a Surrey side in which England star Kevin Pietersen makes his first appearance of the summer.
Brooks, who has got the all-clear from a broken thumb sustained last month, will also get to bowl at former Australian captain Ricky Ponting.
The 29-year-old ex-Tiddington and Oxford seamer was in great form before getting injured, taking 15 wickets in three Championship games.
