ECB 50+ County Championship
ALEC Cunningham’s unbeaten century fired Oxfordshire to a nine-wicket victory over Worcestershire at Bicester & North Oxford in Group 4.
Cunningham hit 18 fours and a six in his knock of 106 as Oxon cruised to 179-1, chasing the visitors’ 176-6.
Worcestershire won the toss and opted to bat, but were contained by the home attack.
Kevin Truswell (83) and Godfrey Lamb (41) gave the total some respectability on a quick outfield.
Ian Caunce fell relatively early on in reply, but Cunningham was well supported by Paul Tew (43) in a 150-run stand as Oxfordshire eased to victory with almost seven overs to spare.
