NATHAN Hawkes hit a century as Banbury made it through to the semi-finals of the Home Counties Premier League Twenty 20.
Hawkes hit an unbeaten 103 in the 37-run win over Harefield in their last eight clash at White Post Road.
The visitors were left to rue their decision to ask Banbury to bat as Haupt and Craig Haupt shared an opening stand of 190.
Haupt fell for 79 off 58 deliveries, which included 13 fours.
Hawkes, however, hit a magnificent 103 off 62 deliveries, with 11 fours and four sixes as Banbury racked up 195-1.
In reply, an opening stand of 72 between Simon Macey and Ollie Richards gave Harefield hope.
But when Richards fell, only Macey proved any sort of threat, hitting 87 off 54 balls.
Richard West (2-18), Ollie Wright (2-29) and Jimmy Phillips (2-39) took wickets, with two run outs leaving Harefield well short on 158-8 at the conclusion of their innings.
Now Banbury are at home to Slough in the semi-finals on a date to be arranged.
