A fine 91 by Mark Walker took leaders Aston Rowant 2nd to a seven-wicket win at Bicester & North Oxford 2nd in Division 5.

Graham White (39), Chris Heron (43) and Mike Simpson (36) had taken Bicester to 208-5 from their 52 overs.

Walker set up the run chase before Leigh Lewis (57no) finished it off.

All four results were possible in the dying stages of the match between Didcot and Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts 2nd, before it ended in a draw.

Asked to bat, Nondies managed 183-9, Toukeer Ahmed hitting 50, while Matt Jones took 4-27.

Matt Scrivener (4-41) then restricted Didcot to 176-8 at the end of a tense encounter.

Jonathan Best's stoical 46 took Banbury 3rd to 102 from 35 overs at Great & Little Tew, before James Mitchelmore made the same score rather more quickly to take his side to 214-8.

Adam Fleetwood took 4-45 for Tew, who soon fell behind the required run rate despite a solid 44 from Andy Darby and Sam Catling's 59.

The loss of two wickets in the final over left them just about hanging on for a draw at 175-9.

Robin Newman and Alec Inns were the key performers in Abingdon Vale 2nd's six-wicket win at home to Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.

Newman took 4-50 with his dibbly-dobbly seamers as Town were bowled out for 128.

Then Inns hit an unbeaten 32 as Vale eased to a comfortable victory.

Openers Shannon Tubb (49) and Arran Aris (41) crashed 86 for the first wicket as Great Brickhill wasted no time beating Brackley.

The visitors had only managed to reach 124 all out, with Nick Tweed taking 3-17 for the hosts, who lost just three wickets as they raced to victory in their reply.
