Kingston Bagpuize's woes continued as they slumped to a nine-wicket defeat at home to Sandford St Martin in Division 3.

Martin Shepherd showed again that he is too good for Division 3 by hitting 77, but received precious little support as Bagpuize were restricted to 133-9.

Richard Murrey took 4-38, while James Risbridger finished with figures of 3-40 from 20 overs.

Phil Paterson (66no) and Aussie Dave Lowery (51no) then took Sandford to 134-1 in the 27th over.

Jamil Mohammed took 5-35 and Nitin Sehgal hit 102 not out for Morris Motors Exiles, who enjoyed an easy eight-wicket win at Hanborough.

Put in, the home side were bowled out for 169, Mike Dove top-scoring with 55.

The Exiles then raced to 171-2 in 28.2 overs thanks to Sehgal and Latif Mohammed (43).

Dan Ripley hit 75 for Dinton 2nd, whose 200-9 proved well beyond Witney Mills.

Steve Kelly and Jim Skelson each took three wickets for Mills, but only Ross Morgan (65) among the batsmen showed any form for the home side.

Kelvin Ripley took 5-52, but Mills managed to secure a draw on 154-8.

Sixteen-year-old Asif Acklaq took 5-33 as Wolverton Town came within one wicket of beating Bledlow Village in a nailbiting finish.

Town had scored 208-8 thanks to Andy Gosling's 64 and an unbeaten 45 by Kieran Lampard.

Graham Keens (50) and Adam Mould (49) gave Bledlow every chance, but they fell just short on 203-9.
