FOUR Abingdon AC members returned from the UK Indoor Masters Pentathlon Championships with medals.

Duncan Talbot clinched silver in the men’s vet 65 event at Lee Valley, with Phillipa Terry second in the ladies vet 50 competition.

Pete Stepney took bronze in the men’s vet 55 event, with Marc Juffkins third in the vet 50.

Meanwhile, Witney RR’s Chris Colbeck was the first vet 40 when finishing fourth overall in the fifth race of the Tempo Winter Series in Ilmington, Warwickshire.

Elsewhere, Alchester AC’s Shaun O’Gorman was 17th at the Hardwick X Stream.

He completed the six-mile undulating off-road course in 41mins 55secs.

Clubmate Sarah Rendell was the second vet 40 home at the Bramley 10.
